As President, Liv oversees and facilitates the rest of the committee in their individual roles. She is responsible for the management and decision making in the club and ultimately all of USBC's athletes too. Day to day presidential duties include frequent contact with governing bodies and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the club succeeds and maintains its strong culture for years to come.

As Vice President of USBC, Alex plays a supporting role to his fellow signatories and the wider committee. Alex also takes charge of sorting training, race and social kit for the club, deals with any quality-of-life suggestions put forward by athletes in the club, handles partnerships with external brands, and takes a leading role in organising the boat club's contribution to Team Surrey events. In short, the role of Vice President could be described as the scaffolding of the club alongside the Secretary.

Lochy Cronckshaw

The role of treasurer for USBC involves management of finances, yearly budget and every transaction throughout the club with responsibilities ranging from buying bolts for the boats to calculating race costs across the season. Lochy ensures funds coming in and out of the club are as cost efficient as possible, maximising the potential of every penny and making sure that the decisions made always have the cost to the athlete in mind.

Emily Rice-Worley

As Secretary at the University of Surrey Boat Club, Emily oversees the club’s day-to-day administration and logistics, coordinating transport, room bookings, meetings and training or race arrangements. She maintains key club records and British Rowing membership information while working closely with the executive committee, coaches, captains, Team Surrey and the Students’ Union to ensure the club operates smoothly throughout the year.

Noah West

As Fundraising Officer at the University of Surrey Boat Club, Noah leads the club’s fundraising efforts through events, grant applications and partnerships with external organisations. He works closely with the committee and Social Secretaries to organise fundraising initiatives, secure donations and identify funding opportunities, while also supporting charitable campaigns and helping generate funds for the club throughout the year.

As Social Secretary at the University of Surrey Boat Club, Will leads the club’s social programme, organising major annual events, post-race celebrations, midweek activities and sober socials. He works to create a welcoming and inclusive club culture, strengthen connections between squad members and alumni, support fundraising events and maintain morale throughout the demands of training and competition.

Zach Baker

As Boat Maintenance Officer at the University of Surrey Boat Club, Zach oversees the upkeep and maintenance of the club’s boats, blades, ergs, trailers and other equipment. He coordinates repairs and spare parts, identify and prevent potential damage, and work closely with coaches and Team Surrey to ensure the club’s equipment remains safe, reliable and ready for training and competition.
