Oscar Borley

As Development Coach at the University of Surrey Boat Club, Oscar leads the club’s beginner and development rowing programme, overseeing athlete recruitment, training design, technical development, crew selection, race entries and competition preparation. He coordinates land and water-based training, camps and race programmes while working closely with other coaches and captains to develop athletes from complete beginners into competitive university rowers.

His coaching experience builds on several years within USBC, including previous leadership roles as President and Senior Men’s Captain, giving him a strong understanding of athlete development, squad culture and performance within university rowing.

Imran Miah

Team Surrey Photographer & Videographer

As Photographer and Videographer for the University of Surrey Boat Club, Imran leads the creation of the club’s visual content, capturing training, racing, events and key moments throughout the season. Imran oversees photography and video production from planning and filming through to editing and delivery, working closely with athletes, coaches and the committee to showcase the club’s performance, culture and community. Their work supports the club’s digital presence, promotion and recruitment while creating a lasting visual record of life at Surrey Boat Club.

Also being the photographer and videographer for Team Surrey for the last 2 years, Imran covers the media for all the other sports at the university for Team Surrey and Surrey Sports Park.
